Ohh the weather outside is frightful !

WoW, it's been a while..
Since my hours at work are starting to SUCK big time.. I've got some spare time on my hands, so I figured what the hell, Bloggy Blog time!

Can anyone else say that they're as eager as I am for all this Christmas crap to be over?! I swear, if I have to listen to one more Christmas song, or deal with one more insane Christmas shopper, someone is gonna get hit. LoL
I'm so glad I was done my shopping early this year! Now I can sit back, relax and watch the chaos. People driving like morons, and fighting over the last Hanna Montana tickets or some other stupid crap that they're little brats begged 'Santa' for.
I'm still thinkin' of going the way of the Bah-Humbug, it would make things so much easier. Then I would have a completely stress free month of December.

Ooo, one good thing (I suppose) I finally got my car starter put in my car. (I only got it 3 years ago for my birthday.. or was it Christmas? Hmm, doesn't matter)
Anyway, I finally got it in, that's the main point here.
What a fun time that was:..

I ended up having to work the only day that the guy could put it in, so I ended up switching cars with my mom and letting her take it in while I took her car to worky.
I HATE MY MOM'S CAR!! It sucks!!
Well, not 'sucks' that's such a harsh word.. but put it this way, it's not my car, and she is in desperate need of tires, cuz add snow into the mix, and WoW.

I was soo happy to have my little girl back (who is brilliant in the snow by the way) Only to find out that the stupid guy 1) Forgot to put the fuse cover back on, so I had to make another trip to get it and 2) The bastard cracked my dash/instrument panel thing, as well as a spot by my steering wheel. Ohhh let me tell you.. I was pissed!
Thanks a lot A-Hole.. so much for being Rob's friend.. you're supposed to be nice to my little car!

I have a few worky stories too!
Mostly about how lame it is.. haha, about how someone slid into our railing on the patio the other day when it snowed. Cuz it's a well known fact that people drive like GIANT DICKS in the snow. And R.I.P my favourite Angel Fish.. you had puffy lips, therefore I loved you!
Also, I've always thought this, but now I know for sure (fo' sho') that my boss is INSANE.
The phone rings one night when I was working the boring night shift.. and this is what followed.

"Honey, I'm in my pajamas, so put on a fresh pot of coffee, and put it in one of those coffee pitchers, you know, with the lid. And I want a glass of milk.. put it on a tray, and bring it over here. Thanks."

So, I went into the kitchen and of course there were no lights left on, so trying to make my way to a switch was impossible. I finally found one so that I could see a little bit, I grabbed a package of coffee (without thinking to check the label) and put it in the pot.. then I realise that it was Decaf.. *Great* So I had to dump that out, and make the regular crap. Then, they have everything put away, so I had to figure out where the hell they had put the stupid room service trays :s I finally got it all ready, and brought it over thinking that she would be content. Nope! She calls back again..

"Honey, thank you so much! Now I have one more favour. In my office, there's my Chanel purse, could you bring it over here because I'm going to the ballet tomorrow, and I need to get everything ready"

Craaaazzy Lady!! I guess it's allowed though, due to the fact that you're effing loaded. LoL

I'm soo glad I work with peeps that think such wonderful things about me. This goes back to them giving me the nickname 'Smurfette' and taking it a little to seriously. As soon as I knew I was the clear, with Mrs sleepin' like a champ it was buh-bye Christmas Crap! Hello 80s Gold haha.

It's Time for Story Time with Ash :)

This is for you.. since I've been lacking in the blog department.. and since I still didn't get to tell you my stories haha

Since you're pretty much the only person who reads this shit of mine anyway, no harm will be done.
HOWEVER: For all you randoms that may stumble upon this little jem I like to call mine. I shall warn you now, DO NOT read further if you're among the prude people. And if you do choose to read, do it at your own risk, and DON'T judge me... you don't know me, so nothing gives you that right! Bitches! :p

Story #1:

My little hike in the gorge.. LoL
That's all it started out as I SWEAR!! A nice nightly stroll through the pitch black gorge (with flash lights..) We made it down to the water.. and we were sitting on a rock, talking.. looking at stars, you know, all that gay shit. HaHa
Well, one thing led to another, and BAM haha
Then we noticed a creepy light on the other side of the river, and that's where the paranoid "Bush People" talk comes in. I really thought that someone was going to come, and eat my skin. Add in that scary random Inook Shook (sp? definitely!) LoL It was very Blair Witch haha. Although I was assured that nothing would ever happen to me, cuz he wouldn't let it. I was creeped out.. that didn't stop me from doing it again though haha (so that's like 2 stories in one.. haha, how's that for bargain :p)

Story #2:

Involves the back seat of my car... on a dark F.E. back road(ish place) but that's not really a story, that's just plain slutty lmao.

Story #3:

I was pretty proud of this one.. I deserve like an Oscar or something!!
I was on my way home one night, and I got my first speeding ticket LoL
I was clearly doing like 140kpm and I got pulled over.. I was like "FUCK" !! He came up to my window... and I started balling my little eyes out. He was like "Do you know how fast you were going?" And I was like "I thought I was only doing like 120, but I just got into a fight with my boyfriend"
So he went back to his car... for like 5 minutes (it felt like forever!) and when he came back.. he was like "I still have to give you a ticket, however I'm going to say that you were only doing 110, so that it's only a 40$ fine, and no points, as opposed to like a 300$ fine, and 4 points. Does this car have cruise? Just set it at around 110, 115, and that way no one will bother you ok? Now drive home safe.."

I can honestly say, I laughed my ass off the whole way home cuz I got away with that LoL
But I'm not gonna lie, I was shitting my pants :s
Definitely deserve an award for that performance!! HaHa

But yeah, I think that's pretty much everything for now... I'm sure there's more, but I'm sleepy, head-achy, and blah.

We're lost in this, but it feels like home

With the summer now long gone, I think it's safe to say that it was one of the worst!
I did a whole lot of sweet fuck all :s
Ahh, and with my lovely tonsil removal thrown right smack in the middle.. that took my chances of fun down another level LoL.

All I did was work, work, work. So much work.. and all for what?! NOTHING! I earned a few nicknames.. most of which I think should be nonexistent.
Squeek, Smashley, Smidget, Smurffette, DaVito (yes, as in Danny.. don't ask) I'm sure there were more, but I had a new one every day.. so it's a little hard to keep track.
I met some very interesting people.
[*] The lady who had the crazy idea to point out that I was short, as if I didn't already know.
[*] The annoying guy from N'Orleans who wouldn't leave me alone.. it was soo hard to understand this child, and he felt the need to talk to me. And tell me that he was 25 years old, and had never been to a club or drank alcohol. But those were his plans for the evening. Ugh! I don't care psycho! Go jump over the Falls please!
[*] And of course, I can't forget the Colombian Drug Lord.. CDL haha. He wasn't really a CDL, it's just the first time I saw him he was dressed like one all in white with the fedora and such. From that moment on, I was obsessed! Every time I knew he was bringing a group in, I got excited. (But it was just cuz of his hat I swear!)

Oooo, I also found out a very interesting piece of info on the owners of the Inn..
apart from their personal life which is just whaaaaaacked. To whacked for me to write about, so if you want the info on that bad boy, you're gonna have to ask nice. :)
However.. apparently back in the mid-80s Mr went half-zies on a little piece of property known as the Skylon Tower for a cool $18 million (CASH) Two years later, he was bought out for a measly $13 million (CASH) -- and yes! I did say million!
BUT Mrs.. still owns all the property under the Skylon, so when the lease is up in 2064, everything goes back to her.. well, her family, cuz she'll be long dead.
Isn't that insanity!!

This little girl ate sooo much :s but it was oh so deeelicious.
First of all, Congrats to my Gram for once again (like always) cooking the yummiest of all yumm food!
It was however another holiday family get together that I loathe.. haha. I can stand my family in only small doses. To much, and they annoy the HELL out of me!
The day started out with all the male members of the family going golfing.. and when they arrived for dinner lets just say they were a little.. what's the word.. SMASHED. Big mistake right there. It ended in my dad and my uncle throwing food, and my uncle losing after he took a handful of squash in the face.. Yeah, that's how we roll in my family :s (and they wonder why I wake up every morning and hope to god I'm adopted)
Also there was the admittance from my Papa (also quite drunk..) that I am in fact his favourite LoL. Not that I didn't already know that :p

All and all, by 10:00 I was ready to get out of there.. but I had to wait for my dad, since I was his ride home.. I finally dragged him out, and he was so angry that I made him leave he didn't talk to me the whole way home. Doesn't bother me any.. I was ready to leave him there, I was to tired, and getting cranky. My family is hard enough to take a lot of when they're sober... when they're drunk FORGET ABOUT IT!

(WoW.. almost a whole month between this post and my last! That's a little sad)
One of these days, I'll have to sit down and write a good one.

Woke up to no more babies..

So... I woke up this morning, and all my babies were gone :(
Then I came across the smallest one, they left her behind and she was stuck in my back fence. I got her out, and every time I left her alone outside, she would cry & cry.. it broke my heart.
So I brought her inside and had to give her like 6 baths to get the fleas out.
She was soo good in the bath though!!

It's been 4 days since I've eaten anything.... I'm STARVING!!!

Today was the first day I was able to swallow any liquids (even now doing so feels like shards of glass).. it was brutal!! I couldn't even swallow my own spit :s Let me tell you what an attractive site that was.
I also pretty much love the fact that I can't talk... I sound like a mute :s My voice it all squeeky and I have this wonderful new lisp *Chaaaaarming*
My mouth tastes like a dead animal and I DO NOT LIKE IT! I feel soo dirty.. I've went through almost 2 bottles of mouth wash and it does nothing.

I'm soo glad I'm not in huge amounts of pain, cuz I can't swallow the meds they gave me either. Why the hell do they like to give out horse pills to people who have no throat??? Does that make any sense to ANYONE?!

And I gotta tell ya, I honestly don't know how people can enjoy not working... like seriously being couped up in this house for 4 days, I'm ready to kill someone. I'm so god damn bored.

WoW, I've really been neglecting this thing..
I figured since I can't sleep, now would be the perfect time to write something (if I'm lucky perhaps it will even have some whit and humour)

4 days till surgery, and as that day draws closer, I can feel the stress building. I honestly haven't has a good night sleep in over a week. Every time I try, the idea of it pops into my little brain, and I'm done. I've been making myself sick over it :s :literally:
I've never been more scared of anything in my whole life.

Everyone keeps telling me that it will go smoothly, and that everything will be fine, I will feel a lot better yadda yadda.. UMM HELLO, you're not the one's going in on Friday at 12:45 pm to be stuck with an I.V. knocked out, and have pieces of you cut out!!

For those who don't know me, I'm generally a strong person, I can take a lot of shit.. but when it comes to this, Ill be the first to admit I'm a PUSS
(Trust me, I'm not proud of the fact that I can't take a needle in the arm, without passing out, or like in my most recent blood work endeavor that included vomiting :s but I think it adds a little bit of character to the person that is Ash)
I don't handle it well, when I'm told to sign forms that will allow for blood transfusions, and organ donation.. "not that they're planning on that, but 'just in case'"

Strangely I feel like I don't have the proper support I should have...
From one person in particular, (you know who you are, not that you'll ever read this, so it doesn't matter) You've let me down more times then I care to count and yet, I still keep comin' back for you to deal out more of you're cruel punishment. I suppose most people would call me stupid, I like to think of it as 'optimistic' but even I'm starting to doubt that.

This summer has pretty much been the shittiest one I've ever had to survive through.. so much for that Psychic telling me I was gonna have a good year.. where the hell is the good?!?
It's been full of swollen tonsils, work, and blah. -Ok, I'll give it some happy times, that always seem to end with a broken heart though.. so that doesn't really count in my opinion.

I feel a little more relaxed now that I've half typed my little heart out. I think perhaps I should try to sleep, considering I have to work in the a.m.

**HAPPY CANADA DAY** [yesterday]

Work has been soo busy!! Today I went into work for 10, only to get there and find out that they had changed my schedule and forgot to tell me. So I had to come home for like an hour and a bit, and be back in for 12. *Damn Them! Idiots!*
I HATE tourists!! I went to my mom's the other day after work and it took me 45 minutes just to get out of down town. Anyone w ho knows me knows my patience... LoL and let's just say I was piiiissed!!

I swear, tourists get dumber every year.. I gave this one family directions to the hotel like 4 times over the phone, and they still said they had trouble finding the place. And the other day same thing... it was "Ok, we can see the entrance to Marineland" So I told them to look for the huge parking lot which is right beside the entrance to Marineland and turn left at those lights to get on the parkway, and find us... NOT HARD. Then I got "Well, we don't see any parking lot" Uhh, if you're at the effing entrance how the hell can you not see the parking lot?!?! It's massive!!

I've also gained another work nickname... this one I'm not really a fan of. 'Smurfette' ... Smurfette was a WHORE! She was the only girl Smurf, and there was always lots of little Smurf babies. So unless she was the Smurf's version of the Virgin Mary... Sssssslut!!!

I worked another lovely 9 hour day today, it was super fun :s
I had a nice nap when I got home though.. which was a BIG MISTAKE! Haha, I'm more then likely going to be up for half the night now.

Thank God I have the next 2 days off (hopefully) It better not be a repeat of last week, where they called me in on my day off. Haha, I'm brand new, and they're already hounding me to stay longer and work when I'm not supposed to.

I like it there though, everyone is really nice. Sometimes to nice.. and I'm pretty sure the owner isn't always playing with a full deck haha. Don't get me wrong, she's a super nice woman.. but she's a bit of a crazzzy one, and so funny due to that crazzzyness.

WTF is that?!?! 9 - ? So I could be there for like 10 hours a day just like my lovely Saturday shift. <- I thank Chad for that.. who is soo insane.

I got to work with Chad pretty much all night tonight, and I'm pretty sure he does more crack then normal people. Haha

First, when I told him about my tonsil surgery on AUGUST 17, he proceed to tell me that he knew someone that died from that.. not from the tonsils themselves, but because when the put the breathing tube down their throat they nicked the carotid artery and it was 15 minutes before they noticed... and the guy bled to death. So naturally I started freaking out... and he was like sweetie, I'm only kidding!
**THAT'S NOT SOMETHING YOU KID ABOUT!! ESPECIALLY NOT WITH ME!! I'M SCARED ENOUGH AS IT IS!!**

Then when I was on the phone with the crazzy lady, she was talking to her husband completely ignoring me, while I was trying to finish her reservation. So I was like Oh my god what the hell is this woman doing?! Chad told me that she was probably giving a blow job [well.. he made the whole "BJ hand gesture"]

Ohh, he was telling me how is lips are really dry, cuz of this medication and he's going through chap stick like whoa. Haha, a little demanding are we??
No, I haven't gotten your letter yet, and I'm getting a little impatient :p but it seems like it took you forever to get my letter, so I'm expecting it to come like next month. Which is insane, cuz we're not really THAT far away.

Grr, I have to leave soon.. so this is going to be quick..
The first day was alright. It's pretty ghetto there though haha, the computer system they use to keep track of the guests is soo old!!! It's like back in the day when computers first came out, with like the orange letters and nothing else. Yeah, it's definitely something you would expect in Fort Erie... only BIG SURPRISE even F.E is more technologically advanced. Oh, they also don't have fun little key cards... they just have old school keys to get into the rooms.

It's going to take a lot of getting used to; the damn old crap, plus the getting up early.
My cat was pissed at me when I left him alone all day, he used to me sleeping with him haha but when I came home after my first day, my room was ripped apart haha. He had a whole shelf cleaned off, and everything was off my bed and on the floor.

Everyone is really nice there though, and they have some of the COOLEST room ever!! They have a "rock room" the jacuzzi is made out of giant rocks and such. There's also an African themed room, and an Oriental room - tres beau.

Oh and there was this crazy lady that checked in and her credit card was declined.. and she ended up calling her credit card company to find out what was going on. We 'overheard' her.. and her credit people said they had a hold on it cuz she was reported missing by her family, and she needed to contact the police.
She was from Toronto.. and when she checked in, she insisted that no one contact her family.
WAAAAAAAACKO!!!!

But yeah, I think that's mostly everything.. and I have to go finish getting ready for work. I'm sure I'll add more later..

Another day down.. I got to work with Chad today... he's to cute haha. He told me that since I work with him pretty much all night tomorrow that I'm gonna be in trouble.. he's gonna make me work extra hard. I went to see Pirates tonight [well.. last night] and I gotta say, I was disappointed...
It was so not worth all the hype, it was to long, and at times extremely pointless and laaaaaaaaaame! Like the whole fight scene/marriage proposal... so unnecessary, and really, like that would EVER happen. WoW, I'd make the worst movie critic, nothing pleases me.
I still say that the first one, was by far the best.

However, other then that small movie fiasco.. twas a good night :) complete with a dinner at Pizza Hut that was full of hilarity.

Another night of workie... *boo* but the count down is still on! 5 more shifts till it's buh-bye Comfort Inn! That's right, as of May 25 I will no longer be an employee of F.E. And the way things are going, it looks like I may never have to venture to this lovely little town again.
I have a feeling though, that this last week is going to be the longest week in history. It's already started tonight, with a call from the owner whining about money, and a call from a whacked out trucker thinking this was the god damn bridge :s

Yesterday, I got another call for a job interview.. haha at first I told him that I wasn't interested cuz I'd already got a job.. but he practically BEGGED me to come in haha. He was all like, "You should come in anyway... who knows we could give you more money" So, I have an interview on Tuesday.. for another place in the Falls.. :)

As of 1:30pm yesterday afternoon I'm putting in my 2 weeks! Cuz this little girl HAS GOT HERSELF A NEW JOB! *woo woo*

Pretty much the whole time I've been working here, I've been dreaming of the day when I could say "Hey yo, eff you!" and now that that day has finally come... I have NO IDEA what I'm going to say to the GM when she comes in this morning. I've never been very good at starting a conversation with "By the way.. I'm pretty much gonna be screwing you big time"

When you look at the situation logically... how many times have they screwed me over, to many to even count really.. so I don't know why this is bothering me so much. It definitely would have been a hell of a lot easier [I think] if I was still under the "ownership" of Mr. Oaks.. cuz really, just the thought of being able to tell him to fuck himself with something long and sharp makes me excited in the pants. But sadly, that's not the case.. even though the new owners are quickly getting up there in that place I like to call "in need of getting effed with a blunt object".

I think I'm most worried about screwing the GM.. cuz really, she is sweet, [even though all she does is complain to me about her married life] she doesn't deserve to be left with nothing. And since everyone else that works at this establishment are fucktards.. haha I feel bad leaving her with no one competent. But then again, it's not my problem.

I'm ready to move on, to something during the day [so I can sleep like normal people sleep.. at NIGHT] and that pays more. Cuz it's all about the benjamins baby! *Maaad cheddar* haha

So, it looks like I'm gonna be spending the remainder of my shift pondering about what to say, and how to say it.

Aren't Native people exempt from paying PST [or GST?] on everything? Cause I had this guy come in the other day with his Native tax card thingie.. so I took the PST off his room charge. Then I got a note bitching about how "we don't do that, cause they only get no tax on things they can take with them". First of all.. you can reclaim the taxes at the border on anything that's not entertainment/food related. They told us that when I worked in the Falls.. [we actually have TAX Refund envelopes here.. and it says "Free Instant Tax Refund; on accommodations and most goods purchased over $50. Purchases NOT eligible include: alcohol, tobacco, food, entertainment, admission fees, tickets, parking, licenses, gas and oil"] ..last time I checked a hotel was an accommodation no?
And I'm pretty sure they give Native people that card so they don't have to pay tax on anything. Do they not? Other wise, what the hell is the point of the card??

I swear, these new owners are getting cheaper by the day. Aww boo hoo you're out 4$ cuz I didn't charge that man PST.

Ash's Review on Spiderman 3
LAME with a capital L!! Spiderman should NEVER be emo!! The beginning was good, but it all went down hill with the introduction of EMO Spidey complete with eye liner, and dancing :s And the end was like one giant episode of Dr. Phil with the crying and such.
I pretty much wanted to kill myself through out the entire movie.. it was 2 hours to long.
Stan Lee actually had a speaking part which is fun, cuz really he's got to be like 9000 years old now, and he's so adorable!

But Mr. Lee, you and Marvel Comics should stick to making movies in pairs, leave out the trilogy idea... the third one always seems to be SHIT! I mean, look what happened with X-Men.. the first two were amazing! As for the third one, I'm pretty sure a baby could puke something better then that..

Either that, or some crazy ass eye infection. -> Pretty much my eye is being super gross and oozy :s I've been sitting here all night with a hot cloth on it trying to make it stop [typing this with one hand is crazy fun! ..I need like an eye patch to hold this bitch on.]

Caaaaaaaaaaandia.. why does your blog/Windows Live Space hate me?! I'm quickly running out of time in which I can leave you my kick ass comments, and it has to go and do this to me.
I'm sort of thinking that it may have something to do with this computer though.. due to the fact that after a while [like 2 minutes of being on it] I can't access Hotmail just by clicking the little thing, I have to do it the hard way. So, that might also have something to do with the whole 'Your blog being lame' as well.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm dying.. I'm now out of drugs, and my throat is still all swollen and nasty :s Yeah, not good times... so I think I'm gonna have to go back to that quack tomorrow and demand more pills [like a true junkie] I just want to be better! *ROAR*

Also, this god damn paint smell in the lobby ISN'T HELPING! I'm pretty sure it's frying all my brain cells as I type this.. which isn't good, cuz really, I don't think I have to many up there to begin with. HAHA
But, seriously.. they painted in here like last Sunday. You would think that the smell would be gone. No? Or at least not as strong. *GUH*
