Once again, it has been another boring Saturday at work.. I resorted to watching the end of the Sabers/Sens game..... YEAH I was that bored! Haha. Stupid Buffalo, you went into 2 over times and you still couldn't beat Ottawa.. which PROVES CANADA IS BEST! Haha. Then is was some good ol' SNL action. "Now kids, if you're experiencing ear pain.. it's probably just spiders!"

Question;
Aren't Native people exempt from paying PST [or GST?] on everything? Cause I had this guy come in the other day with his Native tax card thingie.. so I took the PST off his room charge. Then I got a note bitching about how "we don't do that, cause they only get no tax on things they can take with them". First of all.. you can reclaim the taxes at the border on anything that's not entertainment/food related. They told us that when I worked in the Falls.. [we actually have TAX Refund envelopes here.. and it says "Free Instant Tax Refund; on accommodations and most goods purchased over $50. Purchases NOT eligible include: alcohol, tobacco, food, entertainment, admission fees, tickets, parking, licenses, gas and oil"] ..last time I checked a hotel was an accommodation no?
And I'm pretty sure they give Native people that card so they don't have to pay tax on anything. Do they not? Other wise, what the hell is the point of the card??

I swear, these new owners are getting cheaper by the day. Aww boo hoo you're out 4$ cuz I didn't charge that man PST.
